• Leave blank the topics you don’t know or you’ve never studied before.  Nouns-Including gender masculine or feminine, and number singular or plural. Articles - Definite (el, la, los, las) and Indefinite (un, una, unos, unas). Present Tense - (Verbs, including irregulars such as dar, ser, conocer, ir etc. Stem changing verbs such as dormir, vernir, agradecer, elegir etc.) Present progressive - including irregular verbs (estoy durmiendo, estás oyendo) Uses of ser and estar - Differenciate when to use it. Pronouns - Demostratives (ese, este, aquel, esos, aquellas etc). Pronouns - Possesive (mi, mis, tu, tus, su, sus). • Please rank your Spanish Level. Mark the one (ones) that best describe your skills. Beginner 1 No functional ability in the language Beginner 2 Communication takes place when using a few set of memorized phrases. You do not understand spoken Spanish. You are unable to handle typical survival situations. Intermediate 1 Limited to simple conversations in the present tense related to common every day situations. You are able to understand and use irregular verbs in the present tense. Intermediate 2 Can understand and use simple present, present continuous and future. You may also be able to communicate with limitations about past situations. Advanced 1 You can successfully narrate and describe events or situations that took place in the past, present or future. You may be aware of the existence of the subjunctive mood but you can’t use it or understand it. You understand spoken Spanish when presented clearly and used in social contexts. Advanced 2 You can narrate, describe, and defend your opinions with arguments. You can also understand and communicate hypotetical situations. You understand most of Spoken Spanish in almost all contexts. Superior Close to Native-Like fluency, but you don´t always understand slang words, jokes. Need to expand vocabulary and the use of the subjunctive mood in different contexts.
